Dear Island Trees School Community,

Last night at the Board meeting, a parent asked me about the Island Trees Niche ranking -- yes, it is true. PS -- I’m glad that family is reading our information so closely, too. Kudos!
 
Here’s an example of how well your children are doing in Island Trees. I’ve included SAT scores from over ten years ago below; at that time, the district was at or below national and state levels. Now, look at the last six years of scores -- we’re far above both state and national averages, and 2025 was our best year yet. It really is a testament to the hard work of our students and staff.
 
Once again, the Island Trees investment in our schools has paid off for your children. Our students are putting themselves in a more advantageous position for the college of their choice. That 100-point difference compared to state and national averages will make a meaningful impact.   Island Trees – Small and Mighty, indeed!
